Arkansas became one of a handful of states to mandate community service for high school graduation when the LEARNS Act (Act 720 of 2023) was signed into law. Beginning with the graduating class of 2026–2027, every public high school student in Arkansas must complete a minimum of 75 hours of documented community service in grades 9–12 in order to graduate.
