COPPA CompliantHelper Helper only allows children under the age of 13 to use the Service when a school or school district acts as the parents’ agent and provides consent under COPPA on behalf of parents. Children’s information is used only in a school-authorized educational context and for no other commercial purpose.

Role-Based Access ControlsEvery account in Helper Helper sees only the data and tools appropriate to their role, so student information stays in the right hands and day-to-day work isn’t cluttered by access nobody needs.

Administrators can be scoped to specific groups, schools, grade levels, or graduating classes — an NHS advisor sees only their NHS members, a school principal sees only their school, and a district coordinator sees the full district.

Outside community partners receive organization admin roles that let them post their own volunteer opportunities, manage sign-ups, and confirm attendance for events they host, without any visibility into student records, other organizations’ events, or school-internal data.
